Q1:  How long will it take to get my order?

Here’s the honest timeline: your item is made just for you, so please allow 2–5 business days for production, followed by 7–14 business days for standard shipping. Total delivery time = production + transit, so plan for roughly 9–19 business days from order to doorstep. Need it sooner? Expedited shipping (3–7 business days in transit) is available at checkout. You’ll get a tracking number as soon as your package ships.

Q2:  Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! Orders of $75 or more ship free — no code needed. It’s our way of saying thanks for going big with your sea turtle love. For orders under $75, flat-rate shipping is calculated at checkout. Either way, you’ll see the exact cost before you confirm your order.

Q3:  Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

We totally understand — buyer’s remorse happens! Email us at shell@seaturtlestyle.com right away with your order number. Since items go into production quickly, we can’t guarantee changes, but we’ll move fast and do everything we can to help. The sooner you reach out, the better the chances.

Q4:  My tracking says delivered but my package isn’t here. What do I do?

First, check around your delivery area and with neighbors — carriers sometimes leave packages out of sight. Also remember that orders with multiple items may arrive in separate packages on different days, each with its own tracking number. If you’ve checked and it’s still missing, contact us within 3 days of the marked delivery date at shell@seaturtlestyle.com with your order number and we’ll open a claim with the carrier right away.

Q5:  How do I find the right size?

Every product page includes a size guide with detailed measurements — we strongly recommend checking it before ordering. Our apparel is made-to-order, so we want your fit to be perfect the first time. When in doubt between two sizes, our size guide notes will steer you right. Still unsure? Email us and we’ll help.

Q6:  Are your products high quality? What are they made of?

Absolutely — quality matters to us. Our apparel is fulfilled by Printful using premium blank garments, our lifestyle items come through Printify, and our accessories via Spocket — all vetted suppliers. Each product page lists materials and specs. If you want details on a specific item before ordering, just ask us at shell@seaturtlestyle.com.

Q7:  Are products really made just for me, or is this mass-produced stuff?

Genuinely made-to-order! We hold no physical inventory. When you place an order, your item is printed or produced specifically for you. This means less waste, fresher products, and no mountains of unsold stock sitting in a warehouse — which also happens to be better for the planet. Win-win.

Q8:  Will the colors look the same as in the photos?

We work hard to make product photos accurate, but screens vary and print colors can differ slightly from digital displays. If color accuracy is critical for you (say, for a gift), feel free to email us for more details on a specific item. We’d rather set expectations right than have you surprised at the door.

Q9:  What’s your return policy?

Since every item is made to order, we don’t accept returns for buyer’s remorse or sizing errors — but we absolutely stand behind our products. For eligible returns (unused, original condition, submitted within 10 days of delivery), email shell@seaturtlestyle.com with your order number and we’ll respond within 3 business days. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or we made an error. No runaround, we promise.

Q10:  My item arrived damaged. What should I do?

We’re so sorry — that’s not okay with us. Email shell@seaturtlestyle.com within 3 days of delivery with your order number and a clear photo of the damage. We’ll respond within 3 business days and make it right with a replacement or refund at no cost to you. You shouldn’t have to pay for our suppliers’ mistakes, and you won’t.

Q11:  Can I exchange for a different size?

Size exchanges for apparel are handled case-by-case since each item is made to order. Reach out to us at shell@seaturtlestyle.com with your order number and sizing concern — we’ll do our best to work something out. Reading the size guide before ordering is the best way to avoid this situation, but we’re here if it happens.

Q12:  Do you offer refunds?

Refunds are issued for items that arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from what was described — contact us within 3 days of delivery for these. For eligible standard returns, contact us within 10 days of delivery. We don’t offer refunds for change of mind on made-to-order products. Once we receive and inspect a return, allow up to 10 business days for your refund to process back to your original payment method.

Q13:  What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and Apple Pay. Any additional options available in your region will appear at checkout. All payment methods shown at checkout are fully supported and secure.

Q14:  Is my payment information safe?

Absolutely. All transactions are processed through encrypted, secure payment gateways — and we never store your card information on our servers. Ever. Your financial details go directly to the payment processor; we simply never see them. If you spot the HTTPS lock in your browser at checkout, you’re good to go.

Q15:  Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes — automatically, right after purchase. If it doesn’t appear within a few minutes, check your spam folder first. It’ll come from shell@seaturtlestyle.com, so add us to your contacts to make sure future emails land in your inbox. Still nothing after checking spam? Email us and we’ll confirm your order and make sure everything went through.

Q16:  Do I need an account to order?

Nope — guest checkout is always available, no strings attached. Creating an account makes it easier to track orders and review past purchases, but it’s completely optional. We’ll never pressure you to sign up. Just shop, check out, and look forward to your delivery.

Q17:  Do you actually support sea turtle conservation?

Yes — genuinely. A portion of every purchase goes toward sea turtle conservation efforts. We’re not slapping a turtle on a t-shirt for aesthetic points; this cause is personal to us. We’re based on Oak Island, NC — a barrier island on the southern Carolina coast, one of the most active loggerhead nesting sites on the East Coast, and a pretty special place to call home. We’ve watched these ancient creatures return to our shores season after season. Every purchase helps keep them coming back.

Q18:  Why sea turtles? Why this brand?

Loggerhead sea turtles have been swimming our planet’s oceans for over 100 million years. They nest right outside our door on Oak Island — and they need our help. Sea Turtle Style was born from a love of the coast, these remarkable animals, and a belief that style and conservation can share the same shore. Every item you wear spreads that message.

Q19:  Is your business model environmentally responsible?

We think so. Made-to-order production means zero overstock, no unsold inventory sitting in landfills, and no excess manufacturing waste. We only produce what’s actually ordered. We’re not perfect, and no e-commerce is zero-impact, but intentional production is a meaningful step in the right direction — and we’re committed to doing better as we grow.
